Mover Test Rig – High-Precision Mechanical Testing Platform for Prosthetics & Orthotics

Descripción

The Mover mechanical testing platform by Move Engineering B.V. is a state-of-the-art, compact, and highly versatile test rig designed for structural, dynamic, and static evaluation of prosthetic and orthotic components. Engineered for laboratories, manufacturers, and research institutions that demand accuracy, reliability, and ISO-aligned testing performance, the Mover platform provides a robust solution for validating lower-limb prosthetic components, materials, and assemblies.

Available in two models—Mover5 and Mover7—the platform accommodates a wide range of mechanical testing scenarios, from high-frequency dynamic load cycles to high-force static evaluations, while maintaining exceptional precision and ease of use.

Powerful Testing Performance

Mover5

  • Static load: up to 3,750 N

  • Dynamic load: up to 4,000 N

  • Testing frequency: up to 10 Hz

  • Advantages: higher stroke speeds, superior accuracy at high frequency, equipped with a 5 kN force sensor

Mover7

  • Static load: up to 7,000 N

  • Dynamic load: up to 4,000 N

  • Testing frequency: up to 5 Hz

  • Advantages: reaches and exceeds ISO 10328:2016 P8 static testing level (175 kg)

Both models provide:

  • 200 mm stroke

  • 700 mm maximum sample height

  • Capability to test full prosthetic assemblies, adapters, joints, sockets, foot components, and materials used in O&P fabrication.

Key Features

1. Flexible Testing Possibilities

The Mover platform supports multiple testing modes essential for modern prosthetic and orthotic development:

  • Dynamic force testing

  • Static compression and failure testing

  • Customised and complex loading profiles

Whether for R&D, fatigue evaluation, durability studies, or certification prep, the Mover adapts to your methodology.

2. Precision Data Logging & Control

Designed for high-accuracy measurement, the system offers:

  • Logging of sensor averages at user-defined intervals

  • Full-cycle logging with logarithmic intervals

  • Event-based log capture

  • Ring memory for capturing all data parameters during key events

This enables researchers and engineers to capture detailed structural performance data for reporting, analysis, and compliance documentation.

3. High-Frequency Accuracy

  • Stable force control across the entire load range

  • Reliable performance even at high dynamic frequencies

  • Ideal for fatigue, cyclic load, and long-duration endurance testing

4. Compact & Workshop-Ready

A powerful testing platform that fits easily into any laboratory or workshop:

  • Footprint: approx. 60 × 60 cm

  • Height: approx. 2140 mm

  • Weight: approx. 95 kg

  • Power: Standard 230 V (Europlug, Type F)

  • Noise: < 60 dB(A)

Its small footprint makes it ideal for P&O research centres, universities, and manufacturers with limited space.

5. Ready to Use Out of the Box

Each Mover test rig arrives with:

  • Calibrated force sensor
