1. Who we are
Qaadir Assistive Technology FZ LLC (trade licence 7020355, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, United Arab Emirates) operates qaadir.me and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. 2. Information we collect

• Contact and business details: your name, job title, organisation, email, phone number and addresses.
• Orders and quotes: products you ask about or buy, quotes, invoices, delivery details and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, phone, website forms or social media.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login details and preferences.
• Website use: device, browser and IP information, pages viewed and items added to a cart or wishlist, collected through cookies and similar technology.
• Newsletter: your email address and your subscription choices.

3. Patient information
Our customers are professionals, and we do not need patient information for most orders. Please do not send us information that identifies a patient unless it is necessary, for example to manufacture a custom device or process a warranty claim. Where you do send it, you remain responsible for having a lawful basis to share it, and we use it only to fulfil that order or claim and keep it secure.

4. How we use your information

• To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and process, deliver and invoice orders.
• To arrange installation, training, warranty claims and after-sales support, including with the product's manufacturer.
• To manage your account and keep business records.
• To send newsletters and product updates, where you have agreed or where we are allowed to contact business customers about similar products. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To run, secure and improve our website, and to prevent fraud.
• To meet legal, tax, customs, export control and regulatory requirements.

We rely on the need to perform a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, your consent (for example for marketing cookies and newsletters), and our legal obligations.

5. Who we share information with

• Shopify, which hosts our website and store, and our payment providers.
• Couriers, freight forwarders and customs agents, to deliver your order.
• Product manufacturers and service partners, for warranty, installation, training and technical support.
• Email, messaging, analytics and marketing service providers that work for us.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants, auditors and lawyers.
• Government, customs and regulatory authorities where the law requires.
• A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. International transfers
We work with customers and suppliers in many countries, and our service providers may store information outside the United Arab Emirates. When we transfer information abroad, we take steps to make sure it is protected, including contractual safeguards where required.

7. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order, invoice and accounting records are kept for at least the period required by UAE tax and commercial law. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information by unsecured means.

9. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email support@qaadir.me. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, these rights include those under the GDPR.

10. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the website to work, and, with your consent where required, cookies for analytics and marketing. You can manage cookies through the cookie banner and your browser settings. You can opt out of targeted advertising here.

11. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information about your use of the store to provide and improve its services. Shopify may act as a separate controller for some of this processing. You can read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use the Shopify Privacy Portal to exercise rights over that information.

12. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
