Produced from transparent compact rubber with a resilient special compound, this material offers excellent wear resistance, reliable slip resistance, and high extensibility, ensuring long service life and comfortable walking performance.
With a hardness of approximately 69 Shore A, nora® Astral provides an ideal balance between durability and flexibility. The material bends naturally during walking while maintaining strong resistance to abrasion and compression. The coarse wave profile (58) gives good ground grip and stability, making it suitable for orthopedic shoes, repair work, and everyday footwear exposed to heavy use.
The resilient rubber mixture improves walking comfort by absorbing impact while maintaining shape under repeated load. The material bonds easily using standard footwear adhesives and can be cut, ground, and finished without difficulty in the workshop.
