The nora® Astral soling sheet – profile 26 fine crepe is a high-quality compact rubber sheet designed for use in both sole and heel areas of orthopedic footwear, prosthetic footwear, and professional shoe repair. Manufactured from transparent compact rubber with a resilient special compound, Astral provides excellent wear resistance, high flexibility, and reliable slip resistance, ensuring long service life and comfortable walking performance.
With a hardness of approximately 69 Shore A, the material offers an ideal balance between durability and elasticity. Its high extensibility allows the sole to flex naturally during walking while maintaining excellent abrasion resistance. The fine crepe profile improves grip and provides a professional finish suitable for orthopedic shoes, repairs, and custom footwear.
The 1.8 mm thickness with profile 26 fine crepe is especially suitable for producing dished edges, making it ideal for orthopedic shoe finishing where smooth transitions and precise shaping are required.
