Description
The nora® Norit® L semi-expanded sheet is a high-performance orthopaedic material designed for the production of durable foot orthotics, shoe inserts, and orthopedic footwear components. With its high hardness, excellent dimensional stability, and superior fatigue resistance, Norit® L is widely used in prosthetic & orthotic laboratories, podiatry clinics, and orthopedic shoe workshops where long-lasting structural support is required.
The material features a smooth surface and semi-expanded rubber structure, allowing precise machining, grinding, and polishing while maintaining strength and shape under repeated load. Thanks to its excellent thermoforming and gluing properties, Norit® L is suitable for both traditional fabrication methods and modern CAD/CAM workflows.
The material can be heated and formed without losing its structural stability, making it ideal for custom orthotics, functional insoles, and reinforcement layers that require high resilience and long service life.
