The nora® Astral soling sheets – profile 62 medium crepe are high-quality compact rubber sheets designed for use in both sole and heel areas of orthopedic footwear, prosthetic footwear, and professional shoe repair. Manufactured from transparent compact rubber with a resilient special compound, Astral offers excellent wear resistance, high flexibility, and reliable slip resistance, providing long service life and superior walking comfort.
With a hardness of approximately 69 Shore A, the material combines durability with high extensibility, allowing the sole to flex naturally while maintaining strong resistance to abrasion and compression. The medium crepe profile (62) provides improved grip and stability, making it suitable for everyday orthopedic footwear as well as high-quality repair work.
Thanks to its excellent bonding properties, nora® Astral can be easily attached to leather, EVA, rubber, and other sole materials using standard footwear adhesives. The range of available colours and thicknesses allows precise matching to different shoe types and seasonal requirements.
