Description
The nora® Orthosorb® 98 green is a premium shock-absorbing material developed for orthopedic footwear, prosthetics, and orthotic applications where effective impact reduction and long-lasting cushioning are required. With its low hardness and high resilience, Orthosorb® provides excellent heel damping while maintaining sufficient energy return for comfortable and stable walking.
The rippled profile structure improves flexibility and shock distribution, making the material particularly suitable for heel inserts, cushioning layers, and pressure-relief components in orthopedic shoes and custom orthotics. Compared to nora® Supersorb®, Orthosorb® offers slightly less damping but greater resilience, allowing improved comfort and durability under repeated loading.
