Description
The nora® Aero sorb® W expanded rubber sheet – 325 pastel green is an extremely soft, lightweight cushioning material developed for orthotic, prosthetic, and orthopedic footwear applications requiring maximum pressure relief and shock absorption. Thanks to its unique delayed recovery characteristics, Aero sorb® provides outstanding bedding properties, allowing concentrated loads to be distributed evenly and reducing pressure on sensitive areas.
This material is especially suitable for diabetic footbeds, heel spur relief, butterfly soles, and localized cushioning applications where protection of vulnerable tissue is critical. The light cellular rubber structure combines very low density with excellent absorbency and resilience, helping to reduce pain and improve comfort during walking and standing.
The closed-cell structure prevents moisture, sweat, and wound secretions from penetrating the material, making it hygienic, durable, and easy to disinfect. Aero sorb® has been tested for skin compatibility and is suitable for long-term clinical use in sensitive patients.
