nora® Lunatec CAD 55 is a high stability expanded EVA sheet developed specifically for CAD CAM milling applications in orthotics, prosthetics, and orthopaedic footwear production. With a hardness of approximately 55 Shore A and a density of around 0.30 g/cm³, this material provides excellent dimensional stability, clean machining performance, and reliable structural strength, making it ideal for precision milled orthotic components.
The material is supplied with trimmed edges for accurate positioning in milling machines and consistent block alignment. Lunatec CAD 55 offers a uniform cell structure that allows smooth cutting, minimal tearing, and high surface quality, ensuring efficient production in both central fabrication and in clinic CAD CAM workflows.
