Description
The nora® Aero sorb® M expanded rubber sheet – 319 velvet red is a lightweight, medium-soft cushioning material developed for orthotic, prosthetic, and orthopedic footwear applications requiring effective pressure relief combined with higher stability than ultra-soft grades. With its delayed recovery characteristics and excellent shock absorption, Aero sorb® M provides reliable cushioning while maintaining better support under load, making it ideal for patients who require comfort without excessive softness.
The material distributes concentrated pressure evenly across the contact surface, helping to reduce pain and protect sensitive tissue. This makes it particularly suitable for diabetic footbeds, heel spur relief, butterfly soles, and prosthetic or orthotic padding where both cushioning and resilience are required. Compared to softer grades, the medium hardness offers improved durability and performance for patients with higher body weight or increased activity levels.
The closed-cell expanded rubber structure prevents moisture and wound secretions from penetrating the material, ensuring hygienic use and long service life. Aero sorb® M is skin-tolerance tested and suitable for long-term clinical use, including diabetic-friendly applications.
