Description
The nora® Lunasoft AL expanded EVA sheets are lightweight and stable materials developed for orthopedic footwear, orthotic devices, and shoe modifications where reliable lifting, support, and dimensional stability are required. This grade is particularly suitable as a lifting material for sports shoes, leisure footwear, and flexible street shoes where low weight and high stability must be combined.
With a hardness of approximately 53 Shore A and moderate density, Lunasoft AL offers strong support while remaining lighter than many traditional lifting materials. The material provides good resilience, excellent restoration capability, and reliable shape retention, making it ideal for structural orthotic elements and stabilising components.
The smooth surface allows easy bonding, grinding, and thermoforming, enabling efficient workshop processing. Lunasoft AL can be thermoformed for precise shaping, making it suitable for custom foot beddings, insoles, and orthopedic shoe modifications.
The closed cell structure ensures the material is hygienic, washable, and resistant to moisture, which is important for medical and orthopedic applications.
