nora® Lunacell is a high-hardness expanded EVA sheet developed for applications requiring exceptional stability, durability, and resistance to deformation. With a hardness of approximately 68 Shore A and a density of around 0.37 g/cm³, Lunacell is one of the firmest EVA materials available for orthotic, prosthetic, and orthopaedic footwear fabrication. It is particularly suitable where thin but strong layers are required, or where high mechanical stress demands long-lasting performance.
The material is available in smooth and perforated versions, allowing use as both structural and covering material. Lunacell provides excellent trim properties, strong bonding performance, and reliable thermoforming behaviour, making it ideal for workshop fabrication as well as CAD/CAM workflows.
