Description
The nora® Lunatec SE expanded EVA sheets are stable, resilient materials developed for orthopedic footwear, orthotic devices, and shoe modifications where strong support, lifting capability, and dimensional stability are required. This grade is especially suitable as a lifting material for sports shoes, street footwear, and orthopedic treatment applications.
With a hardness of approximately 45 Shore A and higher density than standard EVA cushioning materials, Lunatec SE provides excellent restoration capability, high resilience, and reliable shape retention under load. The material remains flexible while offering strong support, making it ideal for structural elements such as rearfoot stabilisation, wedges, and shaping components.
The smooth surface allows easy bonding, grinding, and thermoforming. Lunatec SE can be formed in a single block process, which makes it particularly suitable for foot beddings and orthotic constructions requiring stable support.
The closed cell structure ensures the material remains hygienic, washable, and resistant to moisture, which is important for medical and orthopedic use.
