The AMPARO Pediatric Socket is a lightweight, adaptable transtibial socket designed specifically for growing, active children.
Built for the demands of everyday play, movement and exploration, the socket combines low weight with durable construction while prioritising comfort, security and freedom of movement.
A key advantage is its ability to be remoulded up to five times, helping clinicians adapt the fit as the child grows or as residual-limb volume changes. This can support longer socket use and reduce the need for immediate replacement when relatively small anatomical changes occur.
The Pediatric Socket is designed for transtibial / below-knee amputees and supports both Total-Surface-Bearing (TSB) and Patellar Tendon Bearing (PTB) fitting approaches.
