Description
The AMPARO Trust Temporary Check Socket is a direct-fit, remouldable transtibial socket designed to give prosthetists a fast and practical way to establish and refine socket fit directly on the patient.
Made from low-temperature thermoplastic, the Trust Socket can be shaped during fitting and remoulded up to five times, allowing the clinician to make adjustments as residual-limb volume, pressure areas or comfort requirements change.
It is particularly well suited to first-time amputees, early-stage rehabilitation and patients who have struggled to achieve a comfortable socket fit using conventional methods.
Because the socket is fitted directly to the patient, clinicians can assess comfort and fit in real time and make immediate adjustments rather than waiting for multiple fabrication stages.
