Description
The Ethnocare Underlay TT Closed is a transtibial sweat-management sleeve designed to help control moisture, heat and perspiration inside a below-knee prosthetic socket.
Worn underneath the prosthetic liner, the Underlay uses Ethnocare’s proprietary moisture-management knit to help move sweat away from the residual limb, supporting a drier and more comfortable prosthetic interface. The Closed version provides the same moisture-management and antimicrobial performance as the open design, but with a sealed distal end. Ethnocare notes that this configuration can be particularly suitable for users with more bulbous residual-limb shapes or where clinicians want to avoid any effect from an open distal edge on fit or skin contact.
