Description
The Qadam Tri-Lam Diabetic Insole is a heat-mouldable, multi-density diabetic insole designed for patients with insensitive, hypersensitive, vascularly compromised, or high-risk feet. Built for total contact fitting, it can be heated and moulded directly to the patient’s foot in minutes, helping clinicians create a more personalised interface across the plantar surface, including the arch.
The tri-laminate construction combines carefully selected materials to provide cushioning, resilience, and support without excessive rigidity. A 3mm fine-celled EVA top layer moulds to the foot with heat and pressure, while a 1.6mm PORON® Cushioning mid-layer helps prevent bottoming out and supports long-lasting comfort. The 4.7mm firm EVA base provides stable support while remaining suitable for protective diabetic foot care.
For O&P clinicians, podiatrists, diabetic foot clinics, rehabilitation providers, and technicians, the Qadam Tri-Lam Diabetic offers a practical prefabricated removable inlay that can be customised quickly in the clinic. Accommodations such as scaphoid pads, met pads, or pressure relief additions can be used above or below the insole during moulding to improve total contact or offload high-pressure areas.
The generous forefoot shape allows trimming to fit a wide range of footwear, including diabetic and extra-depth shoes. For best moulding results, the insole is ideally heated using a convection oven.
